Matillion is looking for an experienced marketing operations leader to drive our digital marketing execution and technical operations. We have a modern AI-enabled tech stack as a solid foundation for you to continually enhance and evolve. You'll lead the strategic implementation of mar tech and rev tech tooling to create a technical centre of excellence that drives the customer journey. You will work cross-functionally with the revenue marketing and field marketing teams to implement and tune an account-based lead waterfall on a global scale.
You'll collaborate with sales ops to select new, best-in-class technology and optimize the current stack. This leader will manage a small but growing team, reporting to the Sr. Director - GtM Strategy & Operations.
What you will be doingDrive the strategic execution of our marketing technology roadmap as we transform MarOps tooling into a strategic imperative Manage and improve our automation capabilities, lead processing (eg. intent, enrichment, and routing), and value capture processesOwn the MarTech stack and drive the continual enhancement and maintenance of our current tools. Evaluate best-in-class solutions that support enhanced visibility, efficiency, and executional scale. Building and Enhancing Process: Design and document standard processes, working agreements, and SLA's for campaign execution and cross-team collaboration.Contact Database Integrity: Ensure the health and integrity of our contact database. Maintain privacy and compliance of our prospect and customer data. Maintain proper data structure and integrity to fuel personalization, regional and account-based targeting, and ultimately performance analytics.Drive data management to increase data integrity; own marketing database strategy and data requests (e.g. segmentation, list creation).Oversee and execute email marketing strategy - including implementing and optimizing email marketing campaigns, employing best practices, developing processes and playbooks for testing and analysis, and reportingLead Management: Design and implement the definition and process of lead definition, handling and SLA's with the sales teams.Testing and Improving: Take calculated risks testing new processes and approaches to improve execution and most importantly campaign performance!Project Management: own the orchestration of systems and data projects ensuring on-time delivery and mitigating risksLeadership: Implement a vision with Sales/Revenue Operations and Marketing to ensure our digital and overall campaign capabilities have maximum impact on our demand waterfall. Lead and build a high output, global team that delivers on time, and is passionate about reaching our goals while working effectively across the GTM org.
What we are looking forMinimum 7 years of B2B marketing operations experience in scale-up environments with multiple go-to-market models.Proven experience using technology as a strategic platform for growth.Demonstrated experience with modern best-in-class mar-tech and rev-tech tools (6sense, Folloze, Marketo, Salesforce, Drift, LeanData, ZoomInfo etc.)Demonstrated playbooks for Demand Waterfall campaign design and orchestration. Show us your attribution, scoring, and nurturing frameworks.Deep experience in supporting global ABM teams and processes in rolling out and scaling up effective ABM campaigns and tools (e.g. 6sense and Folloze).Comfortable taking ambiguous requirements and shaping them into solutions using independent thinking and sound judgement in a fast-paced environment.Capable of driving technology strategy, plans, and objectives and effectively communicating across a dynamic, scaling organization.Ability to grow and build a marketing operations team that rally’s around a vision and passion for exceeding business outcomes and continual improvement.

At Matillion, we are committed to providing competitive salaries in line with market standards. Our estimated compensation range for this position is $125,000 -$180,000, but the final salary will be based on your relevant skills, experience and qualifications demonstrated in the hiring process.
