Location Description Visalia, CA is home to 360,000 square feet of manufacturing, packaging, warehouse, and office space. Approximately 250 employees work here, utilizing the latest technologies and systems, capable of producing extensive, diverse, and innovative pet food products. Visalia is in California’s San Joaquin Valley and the gateway to Sequoia National Park, part of the Sierra Nevada mountain range. It also has a minor league baseball team, the Visalia California Oaks, and several colleges and universities. Responsibilities Perfection Pet Foods is seeking a proven IT leader to help service and modernize the technology for our office and manufacturing services. As the Information Systems Director, you will be responsible for overseeing the delivery of IT services while working closely with the business and Enterprise partners on technology modernization and integration services. Key Responsibilities: Lead the overall technology services for Perfection Pet including hiring, development, and retention of employees and establishing the technology roadmap in conjunction with Post Holdings and Post Consumer Brands technology teams Plan and execute technology migration strategies to support the integration of Perfection Pet into the Post Consumer Brands technology portfolio Ensure the timely delivery of service for Incidents and Service Requests for all IT services Implement standardized reporting and ITSM processes ensuring delivery of services meet SLAs and business requirements Establish continuity of service plans for critical services by cross-training and developing resource plans for all services within the scope of the team Identify and implement improvements to the environment including monitoring, logging, toolsets and process changes necessary to reduce risk, improve availability, and manage technical debt Document integrations and architecture to improve the consistency of service and provide a baseline for audits, technology improvements, and lifecycle management Perform, document, and recommend improvements as a result of audits, vulnerability tests, and penetration tests in all supported environments Ensure the compliance of IT shared services with relevant regulations and standards, such as security and data protection standards Oversee the day-to-day security operations, including threat and vulnerability management, incident response, and security audits Respond to security incidents and lead the incident response process, including forensic investigations and root cause analysis and take necessary action to prevent future incidents. Collaborate with other departments to ensure that technology solutions are aligned with business goals and objectives. Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including business leaders and IT leaders across the organization. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; a master's degree is a plus Proven experience in IT infrastructure management, with a minimum of 10 years of experience Strong leadership and team management skills Expertise in infrastructure technologies, including networking, cloud services, and data center management Excellent communication and interpersonal skills An innate curiosity about technical operations and have the desire to improve them within the context of MLT’s ambitious social mission Experience managing small to medium-sized teams Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Ability to work independently and in collaboration with colleagues Work Environment/Work Location Fully onsite at the Visalia, CA manufacturing facility The primary work environment for this position is typical of an office work environment, but within a manufacturing site. Therefore, it will require the periodic presence in a manufacturing environment in which appropriate personal protective equipment is prescribed and must be used at all times.
