The Director of Informatics Infrastructure is responsible for support and continuous improvement of the physical and logical infrastructure for clinical and non-clinical systems infrastructure. Manages the team responsible for server and workstation health and performance throughout the enterprise. Tasked with the development and execution of improvement initiatives which make the environment more performant and less vulnerable to downtime.

　　Specific duties include, but are not limited to:

　　Supervises the team which provides support when systems failures occurand works with internal (and outsourced) network operations/engineeringteams, and other service providers to restore failed systems

　　Works with internal and external stakeholders to identify key functional and non-functional requirements for supporting compute and data exchange capabilities among systems; converts requirements into goal-state computing architectures.

　　Collaborates with colleagues to develop detailed plans to execute changeinitiatives improving the physical and logical infrastructure in clinics, mobileunits, and within cloud hyperscalers.

　　Supervises and supports team members through the execution of changemanagement cycles to improve existing network reliability and to safelyimplement goal-state network architectures.

　　Researches new industry capabilities for suitability toward accomplishingAkumin goals.

　　Maintains and expands vendor relationships relevant to Akumin’s networkinghardware and software footprint.

　　Other duties as assigned by management.

　　Position Requirements:

　　Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent Experience.

　　10 plus years’ experience in IT Infrastructure deployments and management.

　　Expertise with Active Directory

　　Sound skills in networking (DNS, DHCP, CIDR, routing).

　　Group Policy design and implementation.

　　Expertise with automated provisioning techniques.

　　Expertise with Root Cause Analysis, Troubleshooting and Problem Management.

　　Experience in Healthcare environments.

　　25% travel is required.

　　Preferred:

　　Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent Experience in Information Technology, Science (i.e: biology,physics, etc.).

　　Experience with OS hardening.

　　Experience with Microsoft and Unix/linux operating systems.

　　Experience with OS-level scripting (e.g. Powershell, Bash).

　　Experience working in Google Cloud Platform (and/or Azure / AWS).

　　Microsoft or other industry certification, MCSE, CCNA, etc.

　　Google Professional Cloud Architect or equivalent in Azure or AWS
