  Job Summary and Qualifications

  Under general supervision of his/her administrative report is responsible for the efficient, effective running of the Progressive Care Unit and Heart and Vascular Unit. This includes, but is not limited to management of the budget, provision of patient care services, performance improvement, compliance with regulatory standards, and business development.

  What qualifications you will need:

  Minimum of 2 years clinical experience required; 3-5 years of management experience is preferred.

  BLS and ACLS Required by AHA or ARC.

  Texas State RN license or compact license required.

  Specialty Certification required within one year of hire into Director position.

  Bachelor's Degree required.

  Master's Degree - Must begin Master's Degree within one year of hire into position.
