Develop and implement the safety, health, security and risk managementstrategic plan aimed at achieving vision of Zero Harm' through SafeProduction using knowledge of mining health, safety, security and riskmanagement systems and practices for multinational mining company; detailedsafety analyses using databases and raw safety and health data sources; O365(Excel, Word); risk management software platform. Manage keymanagement systems and provide information and recommendations that supportthe continuous management of risks and their controls. Provide support tomembers of the Executive Committee (EXCO), and site-based mine managersand other safety, health and risk professionals in the organization. Setthe strategy for safety, health and security (SHS) and be accountablefor the implementation of the strategic plan. Manage development,implementation and ongoing improvement of safety and health management systemsand procedures globally. Set standards for risk assessments and facilitatesrisk assessments through common risk assessment techniques, e.g., bow tieanalysis, HAZOP, LOPA, job safety analysis, field level riskassessment, etc. Manage the corporate health, safety and securityaudits/assessments program. Develop and facilitate training and educationalprograms. Develop analysis and reports trends on health, safety, securityand risk management data. Provide on-site safety and health management supportat mines and projects. Provide incident investigation and root cause analysisoversight and support. Develop various SHS-related reports and ensuresappropriate distribution and feedback.Requirements: Bachelor of Science in Occupational Health and Safety,Mining Engineering, Chemistry or closely related field + 5 years ofexperience as a Mining Safety Manager. Experience must include at least 5years of working knowledge of Mining health, safety, security and riskmanagement systems and practices for multinational mining company; detailedsafety analyses using databases and raw safety and health data sources; O365(Excel, Word); & risk management software platform. Position maytelecommute up to 100% of work schedule. Travel requirement of up to 70%of work schedule to undetermined domestic & international locations.
