Overview:

The Federal Consulting team seeks a Director to play a key role on our Oracle Health team as we drive strategic solutions that will help leadership and field teams manage the large and growing Federal Healthcare Consulting business. This is an exciting opportunity to be a part of a critical team!

Here within Oracle’s Health Federal Consulting organization, we are looking for a Consulting Practice Director to join our consulting team to provide executive leadership over our federal program. As a Consulting Practice Director, you will lead strategy and accountability for highly complex, client programs. This role will allow you to lead cross-functional collaboration with senior stakeholders to execute client and methodology vision, objectives, and strategy. You will be to provide executive oversight for engagements so that project deliverables and timelines are met while ensuring value is delivered to the client as committed.

Responsibilities

Job Responsibilities Include

Lead, direct and review the team’s work to achieve operational and functional targets or objectives with a measurable contribution towards the achievement of immediate and short-term results for the team

Establish and communicate team goals that support and advance team and federal consulting program objectives; establish metrics or other performance measures to track progress.

Understand and explain policies, practices, and procedures within the immediate area of responsibility to stakeholders within and outside of the team.

Identify, propose and lead the team- and department-level quality and process improvement initiatives; participate and provide input on strategic initiatives at the department level and deliver consistent and timely training, guidance, and feedback to encourage and promote associate success and growth through regular developmental conversations and identification of developmental opportunities.

Provide primary input and recommendations on staffing and performance decisions for direct reports.

Leadership aspects include mentoring associates as they:

• Evaluate where inefficiencies exist and drive projects that will solve those

• Identify needs, develop, influence, and implement proposals to improve Consulting processes to accommodate rapid and increasing growth and volume

• Digest structured metrics reports, dashboards, or related analytical tools to provide leadership relevant and timely insights to effectively execute on business priorities

• Create communication plans and documentation to build cohesion across a diverse team

• Perform ad-hoc analysis and project management as needed and present findings to senior management

• Integrate across a matrixed organization to provide clear deliverables and narratives supporting various leaders

Basic Qualifications

• At least 10 years of total combined related work experience and completed higher education including:

At least 3 years of healthcare information technology (HCIT) consulting, HCIT support, project/program management, client relationship management and/or other client-facing or HCIT solution work experience work experience• At least 7 years of completed higher education and/or additional work experience directly related to the duties of the job

• Ability to obtain security clearance necessary for this role which requires being a US citizen

• Ability to communicate effectively

• Ability to build rapport with team members across a matrixed organization

• Ability to act as an informal leader on the team, provide guidance/recommendations and valuable feedback

• Experience using data and metrics to drive improvements

• Experience owning program strategy

Preferred Qualifications

• Excellent business judgment, including strong written and oral communication skills

• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple, competing priorities in an energetic, fast-paced environment

• Comfort with ambiguity and creative problem-solving

• Highly innovative and flexible

• Project Management Professional (PMP)

Range and benefit information provided in this posting are specific to the stated locations only

US: Hiring Range in USD from: $120,100 to $251,600 per annum. May be eligible for bonus, equity, and compensation deferral.

Oracle maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to account for variations in knowledge, skills, experience, market conditions and locations, as well as reflect Oracle’s differing products, industries and lines of business.

Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.

Paid time off: Flexible Vacation is provided to all eligible employees assigned to a salaried (non-overtime eligible) position. Accrued Vacation is provided to all other employees eligible for vacation benefits. For employees working at least 35 hours per week, the vacation accrual rate is 13 days annually for the first three years of employment and 18 days annually for subsequent years of employment. Vacation accrual is prorated for employees working between 20 and 34 hours per week. Employees working fewer than 20 hours per week are not eligible for vacation.

Paid sick leave: 72 hours of paid sick leave upon date of hire. Refreshes each calendar year. Unused balance will carry over each year up to a maximum cap of 112 hours.
