The Automotive Equipment Technician is responsible for overall service call completion within territory. Follow clearly established standards for repair protocol, response times prioritization and customer communications.* Assists Associate FST and FST employees with complex customer problems.* Responsible for call completion and closure for all customers in assigned area.* Manage customer s equipment needs during and after warranty periods.* Resolves customer problems and ensures customer satisfaction.* Sells contracts, updates/upgrades, and parts in assigned territory.* Calls on customer prior to warranty or contract termination date.* Makes cold calls to pursue the sale of service contracts.* Schedules regular site visits with customers in order to provide timely accurate equipment service.* Assists with collection of outstanding receivables.* Administrative duties as required.* Ability to resolve customer problems and ensure customer satisfaction.* Assists with collection of outstanding receivables.* Administrative duties such as onsite signatures form customers, inventory management, and fleet management.* Collaboration with Snap-on Equipment Sales ForceQualifications* Associates Degree in a technical field, military training or equivalent with 1-5 years of experience.* Basic knowledge of pneumatics and strong mechanical skills.* Computer literacy on Microsoft office products.* And knowledge of PC hardware repair.* Basic knowledge of under car automotive operations.* Knowledge of all products serviced by Snap-on Inc. as well as knowledge of all internal procedures.* Ability to lift 45lbs and work in an environment where frequent walking, standing, bending, twisting, kneeling, squatting, and sitting while driving is required.* Strong communication skills.
