What you get to do Develop, implement, and monitor day-to-day operational systems and processes to provide visibility into the goals, progress, and obstacles of key initiativesDraw on relationships with department heads, external partners, and vendors to make decisions regarding operational activity and strategic goalsPlan, monitor, and analyze key metrics for day-to-day operations to ensure efficient and timely completion of tasks for the entire team including suppliers and vendorsModernize legacy systems through next generation services and capabilities to include cloud, compute, data services, etcDevise strategies for ensuring the growth of programs enterprise-wide, and implement process improvements to maximize output and minimize costs while ensure reliability and scalability of infrastructure in a dynamic environmentAdhere to the company's policies and standards, and ensure that laws and regulations are being followedCollaborate with senior managers in the development of performance goals and long-term operational plansSet strategic goals for operational efficiency and increased productivityAnalyze current operational processes and performance, recommending solutions for improvement where necessaryYour mission will be to collaborate closely with senior leaders, other IT departments, and vendors, ensuring the maintenance of a robust, secure, and globally interconnected computing environment• Create and lead the development of global innovative technology strategies to drive transformative change while using an agile organizational model to drive IT Infrastructure and cloud objectivesManage the budget, oversee procurement, and plan resource utilization, shaping the technical direction of the IT Infrastructure while aligning technology investments to business strategiesWork with team to set goals, create individual development plans, and identify training needsBe the customer zero for ServiceNow and provide product feedback through Now on Now teamProvide strong leadership with a focus on attracting, motivating, and developing best-in-class talent to lead the team with integrity and to establish and maintain a trusting, inclusive, and productive environmentQualifications
To be successful in this role you have:Bachelor's degree in information technology, computer science or a related fieldMinimum of 12 years of experience with data centers, servers, enterprise storage, public cloud, virtual / high performance computing, monitoring solutions, containerization and the latest technologiesTen or more years in a senior leadership role in a field related to infrastructure and public cloud technologiesMasterful organizational, communication, and leadership skills, backed by previous professional successSuperior knowledge of multiple operational functions and principles, including finance, customer service, production, and employee managementProven ability to plan and manage operational processes for maximum efficiency and productivityStrong understanding of information technology and the relationships between business and information valueMust have a track record of developing and implementing comprehensive strategic plans to integrate, simplify, and operate a complex infrastructure environmentHands-on senior IT leadership in information strategy, architecture, technology, and programsLess than 10% of domestic or international travel is required for mandatory site meetings and trainings#DTjobs
