The Director of Corporate Compliance is a pivotal role withinthe organization, responsible for designing, implementing, and managingan effective corporate compliance program. This includes ensuring thecompany\'s adherence to applicable laws, regulations, and industrystandards, while promoting a culture of ethical conduct and integrity.This position will have significant interaction and collaboration withtechnical Centers of Excellence compliance leaders and various otherCorporate Global Compliance Committee members and leadership teams atGenerac. MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES: Program Development and Management:*Develop, implement, document, and manage a comprehensive complianceprogram tailored to the organization\'s needs. *Create and maintaincompliance policies, procedures, and guidelines to guide employeebehavior and decision-making. *Develop ethics and compliance strategiesthat support the Code of Ethics and Business Conduct to reduce ethicaland reputational risks to Generac. Risk Assessment and Mitigation:*Conduct regular risk assessments to identify potential compliancevulnerabilities. *Develop strategies to mitigate identified risks andestablish controls to prevent compliance breaches. Training andEducation: *Provide training and educational programs to employees atall levels to enhance their understanding of compliance requirements andexpectations. *Keep training materials up to date with evolving lawsand regulations. Monitoring and Reporting: *Establish mechanisms tomonitor and assess compliance across various departments and businessunits. *Generate reports for executive leadership and the Board ofDirectors detailing compliance performance and potential areas forimprovement. Investigations and Remediation: *Lead investigations intosuspected compliance violations or breaches. *Develop and implementcorrective action plans to address compliance issues and preventrecurrence.
