Mizkan America, Inc.Job Title:Director, Consumer Insights
TheDirector, Consumer Insights and Analytics (CI&A)is a seniorleadership position, in the Marketing organization, responsible foroverseeing and driving the strategic direction of data analysis,insights generation and data driven decision making for MizkanAmerica.This role will support our two business units: Meal Solutions &Flavor Enhancers, and oversee a team of 1 Associate Director ofAnalytics, a Sr. Insights Manager and a Associate Manager ofanalytics.As a strategic business partner to our organization, theDirector of CI&A will be shaping brand strategies, optimizing connectedcommerce investments and deepening human centricity. Furthermore, thisindividual will continue to modernize the function by introducing newtools, resources and fresh thinking to reinvent the way that Mizkangenerates evidence for decision making accelerating the speed from datato insight to key actions.He/ she is responsible for collaborating withkey cross functional stakeholders to provide actionable insights thatdrive business growth, enhance brand equity and improve consumerexperiences.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Strategy and Leadership:
Define the overall vision and strategy for Insights and Analytics atMizkan America, aligning with the organizations business goals andobjectives.
Lead, mentor and managing a high performing team.
Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and future-focusedthinking.
Data Analysis and Insights:
Develop a holistic data vision and strategy for Mizkan leveraging ALLdata syndicated, traditional research, social media, retailer data, etc.
Provide foresight to the organization by providing a clear understandingof macro trends as a result of key cultural shifts in society.
Set learning agenda across Mizkan America brands, combining customresearch, analytics, retail data & syndicated research.
Collaborate with cross functional teams to identify key businessquestions and data needs, translating them into analytical solutions.
Utilize advanced statistical and machine learning techniques to analyzedata and generate insights that support strategic decision making.
Technology and Tools:
Stay current with industry trends, emerging technologies and bestpractices in data analytics, artificial intelligence, and machinelearning.
Evaluate and implement analytics tools and platforms and technologiesthat enhance the organizations analytical capabilities.
Measurement:
Establish and track effectiveness and efficiency of marketing activitiesacross media, connected commerce and trade, and recommend optimizationof plans based on key learnings to achieve KPIs.
Develop, track and implement key KPI dashboards at the service ofmeasuring business performance and identifying key Jobs to be Done.
Communication and Collaboration:
Collaborate cross functionally to support data/ insights-led decisionmaking across the organization.
Partner with marketing team to uncover insights and turn them intoactions that drive world class marketing.
Bring insight into action with retail partners through shopper researchand joint ideation and business planning.
Partner with Innovation to identify white space opportunities and unmetconsumer needs.
Collaborate with the R&D team in development of new formulas andoptimization of existing or productivity projects at the service ofimproving the bottom-line.
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, AND QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelors Degree required, MBA preferred.
Minimum 8-10+ years experience in Marketing, Brand Management and/orResearch, with significant experience in consumer analytics, consumerinsights, and market research in the CPG industry.
CPG expe ience working across channels: grocery, mass merchants, drug,club, e-commerce, etc.
Strategic thinker with a business mindset and the ability to align CI&Astrategies with organizational goals.
Excellent influencing, collaborating and negotiating skills, withexperience leading alignment in a cross-functional organization.
Strong communication, presentation and interpersonal skills with theability to translate data and insights into clear, actionableimplications and recommendations.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, especially in analyzing,understanding, and clearly communicating the customer decision journeywith
