  Job Description Strategy & Operations is one of the critical functions of Commercial and Money Movement Solutions Client services. Our strategy leaders in partnership with various regional and global leaders across Commercial and Money Movement Solutions drive several key initiatives to elevate client experience and program profitability around the world. As part of the Client Services organization, this role is essential to building and implementing strategy and solutions for client integration and managed services initiatives in partnership with various teams across Visa delivering the promise of the Visa brand to our clients. This leader will leverage their strong payments and treasury bank experience, analytic and leadership skills, contextual business sense and a creative flair to navigate challenges and identify scalable and strategic solutions for treasury clients.

  Responsibilities

  Lead the strategic planning, roadmap prioritization, and delivery across client integration and managed services portfolio.Cultivate deep partnerships with regional leaders in client services and other functional disciplines, building relationship capital that facilitates the advancement of strategic, cross-functional initiatives.Develop and implement solutions in partnership with consulting and analytics teams to drive increased efficiency and quality of the services offered to clients in various types of initiatives.Partner with global and regional leadership to shape the strategy and operating model for strategic managed services initiatives.Define and track key performance metrics to measure the success of the initiatives. Drive operating and steering committee to update key stakeholders on progress of initiatives.Create comprehensive training and support materials for various teams during the integration process.Leverage strategic methodologies to record client feedback and create comprehensive actions.Monitor initiatives to ensure optimal performance and client satisfaction by adopting a data driven approach.Document various aspects client integration processes and maintain a comprehensive database of client integration records.Continually assess and improve strategies based on client feedback and changes in landscape.With cross-functional teams, particularly regional leadership, identify and assess new business opportunities and growth areas.Compare client performance against industry best practices with a shrewd eye toward identifying performance and/or profitability improvement opportunities - not just potential, but actionable recommendations that drive tangible value for both our clients and Visa.Be an expert at getting to the root of a problem, defining business objectives and formalizing data requirements - especially in a fast paced, fluid environment.Exceptional business acumen and technical rigor - be able to seamlessly shift between conversations with executives and technical staff. This position demands an energetic, analytical leader with demonstrated thought leadership on building and sustaining an operational performance and/or client engagement function. Deep expertise in payments, analytics, treasury banks is highly desirable.

  This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office 2-3 set days a week (determined by leadership/site), with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% or more of the time based on business needs.

   

  Qualifications

  • 10 or more years of work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or at least 8 years of work experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters/ MBA/JD/MD) or at least 3 years of work experience with a PhD

  • At least 5+ years of experience in payments/fintech or financial companies managing large scale data transformation initiatives.

  • Deep understanding of banking operations and/ or payment schemes, including products & services, business systems and processes.

  • Entrepreneurial mindset energized by the possibility of building new opportunities

  • Demonstrated the aptitude to think creatively and identify new ways to innovate and differentiate with evidence of tangible business results

  • Ability to explain complex business and technical concepts to a broad audience in an approachable way

  • Excellent commercial skills, ability to translate product capabilities into a compelling proposition for product teams

  • Strong collaboration and influence skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional leadership to drive operations strategy

  • Proven track record of successfully leading and executing strategic initiatives that drive growth and profitability.

  • Strong analytical skills and ability to distill complex data into actionable insights.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and influence at all levels of the organization.
