The Director must maintain compliance with the Ohio Department of Jobs and Family Services. The Child Care Center has 106 staff members, 316 children in 4 age groups: infants, toddlers, preschoolers, and kindergarteners. We are located on campus in a state-of-the-art building that opened in 2019. Our center has 25 classrooms, 2 large muscle rooms, a full-service kitchen, an art room, and learning lab. A Place to Be Proud.Responsibilities1. Supervise all teachers and administrative staff.2. Models flexibility in work schedule to meet the changing needs of the center.3. Collaborates with many departments in the hospital to successfully manage and operate the center. This would include Hospital Administration, HR, protective Services, Nutrition Services, Engineering, Environmental, Accounting, and Purchasing.4. Always portrays a professional attitude toward parents, children, staff, and visitors.5. Oversees purchasing of supplies and materials for the center.6. Responsible for the calculation and management of Operating Budget and Capital Budget.7. Responsible for monthly cash reconciliation.8. Responsible for yearly evaluation of all staff at the Child Care Center.9. Responsible for interviewing and hiring staff.10. Ensure that all staff keep necessary training current for licensing, SUTQ.11. Reports any serious risks to licensing.12. Oversees files for all staff and children in accordance with Ohio Department of Jobs and Family Services.13. Collaborates with staff to be sure the Center remains in compliance with Ohio Licensing and Step Up to Quality.14. Plans and leads bi-monthly staff meetings and staff events.15. Plans and implements yearly events for center families (i.e. family picnic, open house).16. Meet with Parent Advisory Board on a regular basis.17. Collaborates with parents to foster an environment of reciprocal respect that creates an atmosphere in which young children can successfully grow and learn.18. Manages facilities to
