About Director, Change Management | Hybrid NY or FL

  Summary:

  • The Director, Change Management will set and lead the change management agenda within the organization.

  • You will design the change strategy including cross-cutting change interventions and be required to provide an integrated view of change.

  • You will also provide hands-on program leadership and support for the full spectrum of change capability from setting up an effective change management process through to driving adoption of the changes and ensuring that new ways of working are embedded.

  • The Director, Change Management will be responsible for developing and embedding a change plan that will focus not just on the short-term objectives but also on the medium to longer-term plan for strategic changes.

  Scope of Responsibilities

  · Define in a compelling way what the vision for change is and what it means.

  · Build upon and effectively deliver the existing change management process and coach a network of project change resources in their application.

  · Provide transformation advice and consultancy support to the organization.

  · Enable the design of a set of change planning measures to assess the effectiveness of the change journeys.

  · Work with the program management teams to influence the program delivery schedule to ensure optimal change adoption and time to realize new ways of working.

  · Ensure that delivery plans are designed for efficiency and impact with consideration for the degree and type of impact on key user groups.

  · Analyze the cumulative volume of change across multiple projects on different parts of the organization.

  · Develop and support the deployment of Change Management interventions and assist with propagation of these solutions across the organization.

  · Scan the external business environment with a view to identifying best practice Change Management tools and techniques which have application within the working environment.

  · Partner with other parts of the organization instrumental in delivering the transformation such as Human Resources, Enterprise Delivery Services, Information Technology, and other business stakeholder groups.

  · Drive user adoption and ensure the realization of new ways of working.

  · Appoint a capable senior team that are well-matched to their roles; direct, coach and support the senior team as appropriate.

  · Identify, measure, and demonstrate results and benefits of change management interventions.

  · Work with stakeholders of different levels, functional areas and in multiple geographies.

  · Sell the change to leaders and employees by articulating and demonstrating a compelling vision for the future outcomes of the project.

  · Negotiate with key stakeholders for appropriate changes in the ways of working and resolving conflicts.

  · Coach and develop project change resources in any of the functional service teams.

  Required Technical and Professional Experience

  · Bachelor's degree from a US accredited institution or equivalent experience within an Organizational Change Management group.

  · 7+ years of experience supporting an organizational change management effort within the scope of healthcare technology.

  · Solid understanding of how people/processes/roles within healthcare navigate change and the change process.

  · Ability to establish and maintain strong relationships with healthcare professionals.

  · Strong personal presence with ability to interact with healthcare leadership and staff at all levels.

  · Ability to understand and thrive in a high-volume work environment during extremely busy project seasons, with conflicting and evolving priorities, executing multiple projects simultaneously and providing guidance and leadership to team members.

  · Demonstrated ability to lead and coach cross-functional project teams to deliver results.

  · Strong problem solving and root cause identification skills.

  · Excellent communication, active listening, and interpersonal skills with a proven track record of providing articulate and compelling verbal, written, and visual communications, including client presentations and progress dashboards.

  · Top Notch client management, influence, and negotiation skills with proven ability to effectively manage client and team interactions, and ability to communicate well with both technical and non-technical audiences.

  · Excellent meeting facilitation and presentation skills.

  · Skilled in organizing resources and managing priorities.

  Preferred Technical and Professional Experience

  · Master’s degree from a US accredited institution or a minimum of 10+ years of program and project management experience, including people management, leading cross-functional teams in complex environments and providing change management leadership for an Organizational Change Management Team.

  · Demonstrated successful program & portfolio management experience with exposure to executive stakeholders.

  · Previous experience in Management Consulting or similar role.

  · Formal training and certification in an organizational change methodology.

  · Familiarity with multiple project management approaches, tools, and phases of the project lifecycle.

  · Ability to clearly articulate messages to a variety of audiences using various channels.

  · Ability to develop and deliver clear, concise change management interventions and tools.

  · Strong meeting facilitation and presentation skills.

  Hiring Range*:

  Greater New York City Area (NY, NJ, CT residents): $150,800 - $230,690

  All Other Locations (within approved locations): $124,400 - $190,315

  As a candidate for this position, your salary and related elements of compensation will be contingent upon your work experience, education, licenses and certifications, and any other factors Healthfirst deems pertinent to the hiring decision.

  In addition to your salary, Healthfirst offers employees a full range of benefits such as, medical, dental and vision coverage, incentive and recognition programs, life insurance, and 401k contributions (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). Healthfirst believes in providing a competitive compensation and benefits package wherever its employees work and live.

  *The hiring range is defined as the lowest and highest salaries that Healthfirst in “good faith” would pay to a new hire, or for a job promotion, or transfer into this role.
