What You Will Do:
The Director, Brand Marketing, on Ralph’s Club, Collections and Romance is responsible for leading and driving marketing strategies, campaigns and product innovation for the entire Product portfolio outlined to meet strategic growth objectives. Creates best-in-class global brand plans to increase brand elevation, product awareness and reach customers through new and innovative methods.
Job Duties and Accountabilities
Help manage and develop the portfolio (excludes Seasonal 360 Global Offerings and Key Hallmarks):
Help establish brand priorities to ensure RL global success and profitability standards
Concept, develop and execute all elements related to the product, marketing and advertising strategies to deliver sales targets
Incorporate marketing insights and competitive trends to create meaningful and innovative products and campaigns in alignment with business needs and brand equity.
Establish and publish global brand marketing codes/books
Drive cross-functional collaboration and alignment to a unified strategic vision approved by the Marketing VP across the senior and junior teams.
Establish strong relationships and spirit of innovation with Ralph Lauren Agency, the license, and build partnership with key stakeholders.
Grow junior teams to deliver elevated, profitable, innovative products from ideation to on-time execution – inclusive of (competitive/market insights, trends analysis, launch strategy).
Keep up-to-date on the latest competitive trends, and insights across platforms, leveraging junior team members to drive and share to cross-functional partners.
Work with cross-functional teams and Ralph Lauren fashion to:
Generate initial briefs and create integrated consumer launch plans to be vet by VP including hero assets, POS displays, social assets, PDP copy, social activations, and more. Deliver to timeline.
Ensure content meets the Brand DNA and brand objectives.

Establish a fortified relationship with the Ralph Lauren Agency, while working to bring in new agencies that can support the Ralph Lauren Fragrance need for disruption and innovation.
Balance ongoing brand priorities and profitability objectives while support market needs.

Nature of Impact
The Director, Brand Marketing, DMI is responsible for the delivery of product and marketing strategies that support the initiatives in collaboration with Finance, Digital, Comms, and the IBD team in alignment and approval of the the VP, Product Marketing. This role works directly in conjunction with Development and Ops to drive the on-time creation of product.
Other Key Metrics
Core responsibility includes the management of budget and ultimate net sales turnover for the Ralph’s Club portfolio.
What We Are Looking For:
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree required, Master’s Degree preferred. Candidate should have at least 5 years of industry-related marketing work experience (beauty or consumer package goods)
Meticulous attention to detail, strong prioritization, and organizational skills
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects with team-oriented managerial skills; manages complexity with reasoning from multiple perspectives and makes decisions
Previous development and/or launch management skills a must
Strong appreciation for our business / affirmative sensitivity to the fragrance métier; understands beauty
Strong appreciation for our fashion and affinity to the Ralph Lauren brand
Proactive, ability to self-manage projects, ability to overcome obstacles independently.
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Suite, especially PowerPoint.
Excellent Interpersonal Skills (written and oral).
