Description:

　　Estimate labor and equipment needs, perform thorough and accurate material takeoffs, and solicit for self-performed civil activities.

　　Implement bid strategies, perform risk analysis, and develop bid alternatives/value engineered solutions.

　　-Solicit, analyze, and qualify subcontractors on general contracted scopes while identifying and eliminating scope gaps.

　　-Prepare bid submission documents including proposal letters, bid breakdowns, work execution plans, and schedules.

　　-Breakdown work scopes into individual activities and determine resource needs.

　　-Read and understand project scopes, specifications, geotechnical reports, and drawings.

　　-Perform basic risk analysis and implement bid strategies that protect the company’s best interest.

　　-Implement process improvements to increase efficiency through better work practices pertaining to estimating.

　　-Electronically categorize and store information in an organized manner.

　　-Travel and attend training, pre-bid, and post-bid meetings as needed.
