  Job Description:  Under the general direction of the Division Manager of Residential Services, with specific supervision from the House Manager, is responsible for the provision of support, personal assistance, training, and quality care to people with intellectual disabilities residing in a community group home.Schedule Details:  Full-Time - Various Shifts AvailableLocation:  Boothwyn, PAProgram:  Residential Habilitative ProgramPay Range:  $16+/hourJob Duties:Assist persons-served in reaching their goals of becoming more independentAct as a positive role model for persons servedProvide guidance, instruction, coaching, and support, in accordance with individual plansEngage individuals in beneficial programs and activitiesTransport and accompany individuals into the community for appointments and outingsDirectly assist with personal care as neededAssist with meal preparation and routine homemaking dutiesAssume responsibility for the safety of the person served including medical/medication needsApply approved behavior plans and intervention strategies as/if neededComplete records and reports; collect data according to Agency policyMinimum Requirements:Education:  High school diploma or equivalentExperience:  None requiredLicensure/Certifications:  None RequiredRequired Clearances: Pennsylvania Child Abuse, Criminal and fingerprint-based federal criminal history; Verification that employee is not on any Medicaid/Medicare Exclusion listNote: At the discretion of the Personnel Officer, additional related experience and/or education may be substituted instead of the requirements specified under Education and ExperienceCompensation Package: Chimes-Holcomb offers a generous benefits package to all employees who work a minimum of 30 hours per week. Benefits are available on the first day of a new month after completing 30 days of employment. Health insurance, including a flexible spending account, medical, dental, and vision are included. Paid holidays in addition to earned paid time off, 403(B) with company match, and 1-year salary of life insurance are available as well. Some benefits are available to employees working between 25-29 hours per week. Eligible employees can choose to participate in our transportation subsidy program, disability insurance, employee recognition programs, and referral bonuses.
