Job Title: Facilities ManagerDepartment: FacilitiesReports To: Director of OperationsLocation: 333 West Bayaud AvenueHours: Monday-Friday, 7:30am-4:00pm, some weekends and eveningsFLSA Status: ExemptSalary: $40,000 - $66,000 annuallySchedule: 40 hours per weekUpdated: September 19, 2023SUMMARYBayaud Enterprises facility has regular preventative and other maintenanceneeds. This includes daily maintenance of the building, repairing differentmachinery, swamp coolers, painting, etc. This position will also beresponsible for preventative maintenance of Bayaud's fleet of vehicles andoversight of the facility maintenance team.
The Facilities Manager will be responsible for making sure the buildings andvehicles are safe, functional, and aesthetically pleasing for Bayaud staffvisitors.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following:Directs and/or engages in painting and performing structural repairs tomasonry, woodwork, and furnishing of buildings.Directs and/or engages in the general upkeep of buildings, minorelectrical and plumbing repairs, basic carpentry, patching and painting,flooring repairs, tile repair.Responsible for minor repair and assembly of furnishings.Responsible for furniture and equipment moves within the facility.Maintain equipment in the building.Ensure the building is presentable and safe for employees and visitors.Perform preventive maintenance on building systems.Maintain and repair shredding equipment when necessary.Basic HVAC maintenance and repair.Performs minor vehicle preventative and scheduled maintenance.Understand and follow oral and written instructions given in the EnglishLanguage.May be asked to assist custodial staff when needed.
OTHER DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following:Maintain an organized, safe, and clean work environment.Processing invoices related to the Facilities department.Ensure building mechanicals are in good working order.Work with safety manager on safety protocolsFollow OSHA guidelines for safety.Basic consumer/commercial appliance repair.Maintain vehicle maintenance schedules.Transports vehicles for regular maintenance and inspections.Inspect vehicles for damage and normal wear.Other duties, as assigned.SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITESResponsible for the supervision of a maintenance and custodial staff of 2-5.
QUALIFICATIONSIndependent worker with little direct supervisionAbility to manage and prioritize multiple tasks.Ability to prioritize safety first, using all OSHA safety practices.Ability to maintain a clean and organized workspace.Ability to maintain confidentiality when seeing participant information inwork areas.OSHA 10-hour card or obtain it within the first 30 days of employment.EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCEMinimum 2 years maintenance experienceHVAC experience a plusMinor electrical and plumbing experience.Patching, painting, and tile repair.Veterans are encouraged to apply.Basic Microsoft Office Skills, Excel, Outlook, and Word.
