Direct Hire
Pay: $28+ per hour based on experience
ALL SHIFTS AVAILABLE:
1st: 7am - 3pm Monday to Friday
2nd: 3pm - 11pm Monday to Friday
3rd: 11pm - 7am Sunday to Thursday
Location: Medina, Ohio!

What’s a typical day as a Tool and Die Repair Technician? You’ll be:
• Studying specifications, such as blueprints, sketches, models, or descriptions, and visualizing the product to determine materials required and machines and other processes to be used to fabricate parts
• Computing dimensions, planning layouts, and determining assembly methods and sequence of operations
• Setting up and operating machine tools, such as lathes, milling machines, grinders, and CNC machines to produce components, and verifying conformance of machined parts to specifications
• Using skills and processes to ensure products meet specifications concerning size accuracy, performance, finishes, and other operational and quality characteristics
• Verifying dimensions, alignments, and clearances using measuring instruments, such as dial indicators, gage blocks, thickness gages, and micrometers
• Heat-treating tools or parts
• Connecting wiring, hydraulic and pneumatic lines to install components and circuits
• Analyzing designs and making recommendations for design modifications regarding the construction and function of parts
• Communicating with customers as requested to ensure product accuracy and quality
• Maintaining the area and department in a safe, clean, and orderly manner
This job might be an outstanding fit if you:
• Have a minimum of 2 years of Tool Room experience in progressive/transfer die repair and/or hold a Journeyman Card
• Have machining experience on all machine tools, with CNC experience preferred
• Have the aptitude, abilities, and skill set to produce high-quality molds and dies
• Can safely operate manufacturing-related equipment
• Can read, interpret, and analyze prints and/or computer-based CAD plans and models
• Are able to work under pressure and prioritize project requirements
