　　What you will be doing?

　　The Dining Assistant is responsible for enhancing the dining experience of our residents by encouraging social interaction between residents and providing great customer service. You will ensure the dining room is set up prior to all mealtimes, monitor appropriate checklists in support of dining area cleanliness, and assist in keeping the Bistro area replenished. You will also be required to assist with special events held within the home.

　　To advise the Head Chef and Care Staff of the number of service users eating in the dining room at each meal and of those service users who may require meals on trays to be taken to their rooms or elsewhere in the Home.

　　To deliver prepared food from the kitchen to the dining room and serve meals to service users in a pleasant and friendly manner.

　　To clean the dining room following meals and to ensure that all dirty cutlery, crockery and utensils are returned to the kitchen for washing up.

　　To advise the Care Staff concerning any changes in a service users dietary habits in a particular reporting and noting any instances where a service user refuses food.

　　To report complaints to the Head Chef or Proprietor as appropriate.

　　To undertake other duties as necessary.
