And if that's you we would love to have you join us!Job DescriptionThe Digital Tools Product Manager is responsible for the strategic direction for product & system configurators working closely between business unit stakeholders and software development team in an agile environment. You will report to the Digital Tools Director.Digital Tools provide customer facing tools used to configure, select, and design products and automation systems thru proposal generation. These tools also interface with end-to-end automation to internal systems to support order generation, engineering hardware and software documentation, and manufacturing.This Digital Tools department supports all Rockwell business by providing the management and leadership for the strategy, execution, and maintenance for a range of configuration and engineering configuration tools. Many of these tools provide product selection to complex product/system configuration for both external customers and internal users.This is a critical leadership role in digital tools and will include support for strategic direction and roadmap for our tools, collaborating closely with key stakeholders across the company. Two important goals are moving to simplification in everything we do and utilizing best practices to drive to common tools and processes.Objectives for this position include the following:Meet with Customers and key business stakeholders across the company to gather requirements for product & system configuration tools.Create strategy and roadmap for digital tools For Product Configuration ToolsContinue to evolve strategy and roadmap for configuration tools.Complete project Plan/Scope for NextGen product and system configurationComplete project Plan/Scope for associated functionsCreate and maintain Epics for product and system configuration tools.Plan for tool improvements that are both incremental and foundational.Guide strategic buy, build or partner decisions for configuration tools and their associated functionsInfluence support and alignment across the company on strategy direction and basic architecture of Nextgen digital toolsWork with key digital tools groups to gain alignmentDevelop the project Scope to drive to the future vision/strategyComplete financial business caseGain senior leadership support and provide regular updatesEnsure in-process key digital tools programs are aligned with strategic direction.The Essentials-You Will HaveBachelor's Degree or Equivalent Years of Relevant Work Experience.Legal authorization to work in the US is required.
