  Job Summary:

  The Digital Learning Communications and Content Coordinator will play a key role in conceiving, creating, writing, deploying, managing, and measuring the effectiveness of internal communications to drive enrollment in the team’s digital learning programs. The Coordinator will also assist in conceiving, researching, writing, and creating content for eLearning and other Digital Learning resources.

  The Coordinator will work on the award-winning Digital Learning team. This role will also work with various team members to support designing and building eLearning courses. The Coordinator will perform or assist with various other Digital Learning related tasks. A successful Coordinator will be highly organized and able to collaborate with team members, showcase a high degree of self-direction to achieve results, embrace change, take feedback, and remain adaptable. Writing samples are required.

  Responsibilities:

  Write and deploy communications across multiple internal platforms including email, newsletters, and Nudge and presentations, at times, being the presenter

  Collaborate with team members on creating and deploying communications strategies.

  Create dynamic PowerPoint presentations, design HTML emails, and create other visual assets using systems such as Canva and Adobe Creative Suite.

  Assist in compiling, calculating, and analyzing communications and learning statistics.

  Form relationships and collaborate with internal teams.

  Review and carefully proofread the team’s work.

  Assist team members with outlining and copywriting.

  Upload and manage assets on the LMS and the Digital Support web portal.

  Assist with and write how-to articles for the Digital Support web portal.

  Assist with on-site video shoots.

  Assist with special projects such as Virtual Reality and other innovative learning platforms.

  Assist with researching and writing content for eLearning and other digital learning platforms.

  Meet deadlines.

  Qualifications:

  Bachelor’s degree in communications, marketing, journalism, public relations, or a related field (essential).

  1 - 2 years of experience as a communications specialist or coordinator. (essential).

  Experience in copywriting, proofreading and editing. (essential)

  Proficient in the following products:

  Microsoft Office Suite with an emphasis on PowerPoint and Excel (essential)

  Advanced PowerPoint and Excel skills a plus

  Zendesk a plus

  Adobe Creative Suite a plus

  HTML email a plus

  Excellent verbal and written communication skills. (essential)

  Experience with creative content writing - the ability to translate technical language into digestible content for non-technical users, a plus.

  Restaurant and/or hospitality and restaurant marketing experience a plus.

  Multimedia design skills a plus.

  Extremely detail oriented.

  Ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects at once.

  Thrive in a fast paced, deadline-oriented environment.

  Ability to adapt to fluid project scopes, even late in development.

  Must have ‘Can Do - Professional Attitude’ and be a team player.

  Self-driven, with demonstrated interpersonal and cross-functional communications skills.

  Passion for learning, training, and teaching.
