This position is responsible for designing, implementing, andoptimizing Electrical Power Monitoring Systems (EPMS) and BuildingManagement Systems (BMS) projects including new installations,modifications, and customer support. The ideal candidate must beproficient in the use of a PC and Microsoft Office Suite, has experiencein standard communication protocols such as Modbus and BACnet, andknowledge of electrical systems and equipment. Minimum requirements: *Education: Associate Degree in Electrical Engineering, AutomatedManufacturing or related field OR * Experience: 3-5 years workingaround electrical equipment as a licensed electrician * Valid statedriver\'s license and satisfactory driving record is required. *Travel: Up to 30% * Work Schedule: This position works between thehours of 6 AM and 6 PM, Monday-Friday. Schedule may vary and caninclude, but is not limited to: nights, weekends, and holidays. KeyResponsibilities: * Design and implementation of Electrical PowerMonitoring Systems (EPMS) * Collaborate with internal and externalcustomers to determine system requirements * Software installation,start-up, and commissioning services * Specifying and purchasing ofhardware and software as required * Perform system maintenance andtroubleshooting * Provide customer training on commissioned systems *Prepare comprehensive documentation including system architecture,design specifications, commissioning reports, user manuals, and as-builtdrawings * Generate performance reports and provide insights to clientson system efficiency and energy savings * Analyze energy use data andidentify strategies to optimize consumption * Able to work efficientlyin a remote role with no direct supervision * Excellent communicationskills and the ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment* Performs other related duties as required and assigned Desirablequalifications: * Experience working with electrical equipment such asdistribution equipment, automatic transfer switches, uninterruptiblepower supplies, generators, and PLCs * Experience with electrical,water, and gas metering equipment * Good understanding of standardcommunication protocols, especially Modbus, BACnet and ION * Thoroughunderstanding of computer networking architectures * Experience withand/or understanding of Microsoft SQL databases The job description andresponsibilities described are intended to provide guidelines for jobexpectations and the employee\'s ability to perform the positiondescribed.
