Position Overview
Lamark is seeking a Digital & Content Strategist to join our growing agency. The ideal candidate will work with clients to create and oversee high-engagement campaigns for B2B and B2C clients. You will play a pivotal role in developing, executing, and managing campaigns across digital channels. Your ability to understand and adapt to the unique needs of both business and consumer audiences will be key in creating strategies that educate, inform, and engages intended audiences. You'll collaborate closely with other marketing and channel teams, strategists, and creatives to deliver high-quality programs that drive brand awareness, lead generation, and customer loyalty.
Role Responsibilities:
Create engaging content and cross-channel strategies for select clients.
Collaborate with clients marketing and sales teams to develop comprehensive account based marketing (ABM) programs aligned to overall business objectives.
Partner with cross-functional team to plan and execute multi-channel ABM tactics, including email marketing, digital advertising, content marketing, tailored to specific accounts.
Collaborate with content creators to develop personalized and compelling content for target accounts, addressing unique pain points.
Provide strategic ideas and plans to activate brands across digital channels.
Lead the development and execution of comprehensive content strategies aligned with clients’ business goals and objectives.
Oversee the creation of engaging and relevant content across different channels (website, social media, etc.)
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather insights and align content with brand messaging.
Conduct digital and content audits to identify strengths, weaknesses, gaps, and opportunities.
Manage content distribution channel strategies and partnerships.
Utilize analytics tools to measure performance of content and digital initiatives.
Partner with optimization team to create content that supports CRO, A/B or Multivariate Testing
Collaborate with the creative team to create visually appealing content that captures attention and enhances the overall user experience.
Work closely with the performance team to ensure content is optimized for SEO and supports broader marketing campaigns.
Review, edit, proof content (blogs, newsletters, emails, digital ads, landing pages, etc.)
Undertake or support projects such as content audits, pitch deck support, audience research, etc.
Work with the strategy team on personas and journey mapping
Skills & Qualifications
Strategic mindset and understanding of what moves the needle across digital channels
In-depth knowledge of content marketing, SEO, and social media best practices.
Strong understanding of audience and persona research
Proven experience in account based marketing, B2B marketing, or related roles
Must have the ability to adapt to different categories (B2C and B2B) and brand voices
Proficient in content marketing theory, strategy, and application
Team player mindset with the confidence to take the lead and guide other employees when necessary (i.e., content development, creation and editing of content, and online reputation management)
Strong communication, writing, and creativity
Understanding of digital platforms and measurement tools
Consultative and collaborative approach
Understanding of B2C and B2B industries
Ability to analyze a situation and construct prescriptive strategies and recommendations
Partnering skills in working with clients and internal teams
Must be able to work independently and within a team environment
Education & Experience
Prefer 3-5 years working in an agency or in-house marketing environment
Passionate about understanding audience needs, and staying ahead of the curve on new strategies, trends and tactics
Proficient with Microsoft Office tools
Excellent communication skills: verbal, visual, and written
Experience with analytics (i.e. Google Analytics 4, etc.)
Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
Highly organized with ability to manage priorities and coordinate multiple projects simultaneously
Excellent project management skills and ability to self-manage time and work schedule
