Your responsibilities will include:
Expand the portfolio of new client relationships and increase revenue across existing client base
Achieve personal and team sales targets on small to moderate size, accounts within identified markets -working to clear KPI’s and targets through managing inbound/outbound calls with customers and digital new business opportunities
Interface with prospects through several channels, such as instant messaging, email and inbound / outbound phone calls
Research the market to develop a good understanding of client needs, industry risk and business environment
Advocate for customers through best practice and insurer negotiations to achieve the best outcome for customers
Partner with stakeholders and colleagues across the business to exceed prospects and client expectations
Partner with external insurer stakeholders to build a strong solution network to exceed client expectations
Multi-tasking whilst navigating a range of technologies
Collaborating and sharing knowledge with colleagues across the team and business
Work within company policy, compliance, laws and regulations
Participate in self training and coaching sessions to keep knowledge up to date
Skills and experience that will lead to success
Experience in Insurance sales, prospecting and relationship management, strong broking background
Relevant technical and product knowledge
Diploma of Insurance / Insurance Broking (desired)
RG146 Tier 1 compliance (required)
Experience working in a highly regulated industry
Experience operating in a sales environment achieving clear targets
Experience using software programs or systems that might include MS Excel and Outlook
Experience using Salesforce in a sales environment (desired)
Experience identifying target markets to drive sustainable growth (desired)
Experience in placing complex SME and Micro-SME placements (desired)
