Collaborates with the Dietary Manager and Registered Dietician for menus andpatient specific needs.Maintain accurate HACCP programs, checks food temperatures from deliverythrough consumption.Ensures department practices sanitation and food safety guidelines forappropriate food handling procedures, including use of service utensils andgloves.Interacts with patients and staff in the serving line, offering assistanceof a nutritionally balanced meal, a role model for customer service.Prepares snacks and nourishments according to resident food preferences andphysician orders.Qualifications
Requirements:High school diploma, GED or combination of education and relevant workexperience preferred.Reliable transportationMay be required to work flexible hours and overtime. Food Safety/Sanitationcertification preferredExperience:Previous experience in food service, hospital experience preferred.
