  Diesel Engine /Powertrain Product Training InstructorV2X Professional Services (RPS) is looking for Full-Timeproduct trainers with Diesel Engine/Powertrain/commercial vehicle knowledge and experience to facilitate on-site instructor led training. The new product launch training will be conducted on-site, in a customer setting, for an audience of dealer sales personnel, service technicians and owner operators. This individual must be highly motivated, willing to accept new challenges, and be able to complete tasks with minimal direction. Trainers need to have excellent presentation and communication skills. The ideal candidate will have previous dealership and/or independent/aftermarket service center and instructor/facilitator experience with new product launch training. This position will travel extensively to customer locations in the lower 48 United States and parts of Canada.Responsibilities:Delivers new product launch training courses for sales personnel, service technicians and owner/operators on the features, advantages and benefits of the customers product compared to its competitors.Follows Course Leaders Guides and prepares classroom and lab areas for upcoming scheduled training events.Instructs participants in both classroom lectures and laboratory sessions.Follows up with management and the customer to determine applicability of course materials and adjust delivery to fit the audience (sales personnel, technicians, and owner/operators).Engages the learners in their overall training experience focusing on the features, advantages and benefits of the customers new product roll out.Works in partnership with the CDL driver to set up each mobile training event.Required Skills:Minimum of two years automotive and commercial vehicle product experience.Minimum of two years of automotive/commercial sales experience with new product launch training.Experience with Cummins/Allison/Eaton/Duramax products.Excellent analytical and critical thinking skills.Excellent presentation and communication skills.Strong understanding of a typical automotive/Truck Fleet service department environment.Previous experience involving truck and engine assembly, repair, and fabrication. Strong mechanical aptitude.Ability to work well with both customers and co-workers in a team environment.Intermediate computer skills, including the use of the Internet, Microsoft Office products and email.Excellent time management and organizational skills.Desired Skills:Diesel engine and powertrain technology experience.Experience working on heavy truck or equipment.Previous dealership and or aftermarket service repair center and sales department experience.Experience supporting new product launch events in a customer setting.Required Education:Minimum Associates Degree in Automotive Technology, Heavy Equipment or Diesel Technology, or the successful completion of a formal Automotive Technology Certificate Program.Three years Diesel Experience and instructor experience with a high school diploma may be considered in lieu of a degree.ASE Certification T2 Medium-Heavy Turck Diesel Engines preferred.
