DevOps Engineer

　　We are a company on the move and with forecasted growth of L3Harris Micreo we are now seeking to hire a dedicated DevOps engineer to participate in and support the growing software development team.

　　Candidates are required to have a good knowledge base of engineering principles, theories and techniques and a passion for relevant new technologies. We are mission focused, agile and take innovation seriously.

　　Responsibilities

　　Establishing, maintaining and evolving the development operations infrastructure, including the software engineers’ standard development environment, DevOps services and server infrastructure on both Official: Sensitive and Classified networks.

　　Work closely with development teams on multiple projects to understand and implement their CI/CD requirements.

　　Be the first technical point of contact for troubleshooting DevOps issues.

　　Deploy software to multiple environments from Development through to Production.

　　Provide technical input throughout the lifecycle of multiple projects.

　　Reduce time to market for new features and bug fixes by implementing automated continuous delivery pipelines for software artefacts and platforms.

　　Improve confidence in the change and release process by providing and maintaining frameworks for automated functional and non-functional testing.

　　Liaise effectively with the IT and Security teams.

　　Essential Requirements

　　Extensive experience designing, building and maintaining CI/CD infrastructure, automated processes and tools (ideally in several of Typescript/Python/C++/VHDL).

　　Ability to work independently or as part of a multi-disciplinary team, adhering to development processes

　　Excellent computer skills

　　Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written

　　Highly Desirable Requirements

　　An existing NV1 security clearance.

　　Experience with automated build and test of embedded applications (emulation and/or Hardware-in-the-Loop).

　　Experience with Jira, Bitbucket, Jenkins, Artifactory.

　　Experience with Docker.

　　Experience with Cross-Domain Solutions (CDS).

　　Experience with static analysis of C++ and python.

　　Experience with Yocto.

　　Experience with integration of security requirements into CI/CD pipelines.

　　Experience with combining classified and unclassified code bases.
