As we continue to grow, we’re looking for a DevOps Engineer Intern to join our team for Spring 2024. The Intern will have an opportunity to gain hands-on experience by working directly with our teams, not for them. The intern will be responsible for the full life cycle of deploying, monitoring, troubleshooting applications as well as participating in infrastructure design decisions based on best practices for the Cadent application suite. The Intern will also spend the spring on an individual project customized to their specific skill set which they’ll present to our Tech Leadership team at the end of the program. Details of the projects and timeline will be laid out by supervisors at the beginning of the program. Role: • Build IAC code (infrastructure as code) • Create new build and release pipelines to release applications and IAC • Build and maintain systems that will monitor all aspects of the application and the infrastructure Qualifications • Interest in cloud engineering • Interest in building and releasing code through automated means • Able to commit to a part-time (20 hours per week) work schedule between March 4, 2024 – May 10 2024. Nice to haves: • Experience using any of the major cloud vendors • Terraform development experience • Experience working with Azure DevOps, Jenkins, etc • Experience working in databases like SQL Server and Mongo. • Experience working in an Agile environment.
