　　SUMMARY OF POSITION

　　Work as part of a team to

　　Design and implement automation for AWS infrastructure using True SDK, IAC programming, CloudFormation, Terraform etc.

　　Implement a basic and advance CI/CD pipeline leveraging GitHub, GitHub actions, AWS managed services and other automation tools.

　　Automate application deployments and implement a rollback strategy.

　　Review and update our AWS environments to work with the new CI/CD pipeline

　　Serve as liaison among software development, QA and operations.

　　ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

　　The Senior DevOps Engineer will play a critical role by delivering the following:

　　Responsible for writing scripts for automation, testing at different stages of development.

　　Collaborate with software developers, quality assurance engineers and IT professionals to guarantee smooth deployment, automation and management of software infrastructure.

　　Create and maintain monitoring systems to guarantee high availability and performance for software applications.

　　Containerizing a Python application: creating a Docker image in Linux environment that has everything needed to run it: source code, dependencies and configuration.

　　Troubleshoot software infrastructure issues and collaborate with the team to resolve them.

　　Automating the deployment of Python-based applications and scripts to Staging and Production environments that include Linux servers and our data warehouse (Redshift).

　　Tuning and debugging platform and deployment issues.

　　Building an AWS Data Pipeline that automates the movement and transformation of data to AWS services such as Amazon S3, and Amazon Redshift

　　Working with project management and the software development team to deliver within reasonable timelines and ensuring high-quality work.

　　Proposing solutions to streamline workflow and improve processes for efficiency.

　　Requirements

　　EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

　　BS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related field

　　Working knowledge of SQL and Python to run basic deployment tasks and debug potential issues

　　Experience developing data pipelines on AWS

　　Experience working on a project via GitHub and JIRA

　　Experience in Agile methodologies

　　Excellent communication and organizational skills, and the ability to stay focused on completing tasks and meeting goals

　　Working knowledge in Linux and Windows OS

　　Experience in data warehousing platforms like Redshift (big plus)

　　Years of experience required for position 10+ Years.

　　Master’s degree is a plus.
