The Development Operations & Events Coordinator is an integral part ofthe Wisconsin chapter\'s inclusive, donor-centered philanthropy programand plays an important role to ensure major donor experiences arepersonalized, meaningful, and fun! They are a proactive convener andcollaborator with great attention to detail and timely communicationskills. The Development Operations & Events Coordinator is aself-starter, a problem solver, and takes initiative in a fast-pacedwork environment to facilitate the efficiency and organization of theWisconsin Development Team. In this role you will provide generaladministrative support to the team with duties to include handlinglogistics for special events, preparing personalized thank you lettersand other donor correspondence, coordinating development mailings(including annual renewals and event invitations), and otheradministrative responsibilities such as ordering supplies, calendaring,managing digital and paper files, and facilitating team meetings. Youalso will help support and coordinate engagement between a subset of ourdonors and the Director of Development and the Wisconsin State Director.You will be required to use the Conservancy\'s donor database andrelated technology for donor/constituent management. The DevelopmentOperations & Events Coordinator is an excellent communicator and aresponsive, driven teammate. In this role, you may have substantialcontact with colleagues and members and must provide accurate and promptresponses as needed. You will anticipate program needs and opportunitiesand share those with colleagues to solve problems, improve procedures,and nurture an effective and ambitious team culture.
WE\'RE LOOKING FOR YOU
The Development Operations & Events Coordinator is committed to adonor-centric approach to fundraising. This position is often the firstperson donors (and others interested in supporting TNC) will interactwith and must provide a high level of customer service.As theDevelopment Operations & Events Coordinator, you will support thestrategic priorities of the eight-person Wisconsin Development Team aswe raise funding for critical conservation needs. In this role you mustquickly build advanced knowledge of the systems and resources utilizedby TNC and the team to provide programmatic support and coordinatecommunications related to the resources. You will complete activitieswith multiple variables, setting realistic deadlines, managing thetimeline of the overall program, and enhancing the systems and toolsused by the team. Responsibilities include coordinating team meetings,managing mailings for donor audiences, serving as the first point ofcontact for questions from members and colleagues, planning specialevents, and providing general program and administrative support.Additionally, you will serve as part of a cohort of chapter operationsstaff that support additional programs and projects within the Wisconsinchapter as required. The successful candidate will bring apeople-focused, proactive approach to their work; is flexible andadaptable in a fast-paced work environment; has a strong commitment tocontinuous learning; and demonstrates genuine enthusiasm for supportingfundraising to protect the land and waters on which all lifedepends.Duties include: This roles responsiblities will be split 60/40.60% of the time the focus will be on administration and support. 40% ofthe time will be fcoused on event planning/coordination Provideadministrative support to ensure individual workstreams are movingforward according to timelines, properly documented, and the team feelsadequately supported, prepared, informed, and coordinated on projectplans and progress.
