About Developer, Performance Eng. - 6 Month Contract

  What you'll do

  The Performance Engineering Developer focuses on Test Scope, Performance Analysis, Test Scripts creation, Performance Execution, measuring performance KPIs and provides performance engineering optimization/tuning recommendations to improve End User Experience.

  Participating in and contributing to non-functional requirements, architecture, and design reviews to ensure performance and availability is addressed early in the delivery cycle.

  Thought leader in performance optimization: Proposes and researches tools, scripts, processes to improve performance testing

  Acts as a steward of performance in product and feature design with Product Owners, Tech Leads, Architects, and Dev teams.

  Implement and execute various forms of non-functional tests (Spike, Scalability, Failover, Volume, Load, Endurance, and Stress)

  Analyze Results, compare against SLAs, Benchmarks and Provide tuning recommendations to improve End User Experience.

  Works with development, testing, application administration, and DBA teams to implement and maintain Performance standards

  Performs regular performance testing and work closely with the CI-CD team to integrate performance monitoring and testing into the build and deployment pipelines.

  Create & Review Non-Functional Test Scripts using Jmeter.

  ​What you bring

  Expert understanding of Performance Testing, scaling, and performance optimization with experience in Digital performance testing (web & native app).

  Experience in testing and optimization with on-premises and cloud environments.

  5+ years of experience in performance application testing, tuning, and engineering.

  Extensive hands-on experience with performance engineering, including the use of JMeter, LoadRunner, BlazeMeter, as well as profiling tools.

  Experience with Frontend Performance Testing (BlazeMeter tool) & Analysis (BlazeMeter).

  Expert in compiling, Analyzing and interpreting performance test results and provide recommendations.

  Very strong in design of test framework, load simulation model, load stats calculations etc.

  Use diagnostic tools Dynatrace/NewRelic to isolate bottleneck areas, or tune configuration and resource parameters to optimize performance and scalability.

  Software development experience (eg Java, C++/C#, JavaScript, Python, SQL , MS SQL etc.)

  Experience working with logging tools ELK/Sumologic.

  Experience with analysis of non-functional requirements for performance and security for agile and non-agile projects.

  Experience in test execution, log analysis and reporting is a must.

  Conscientious, Fast learner, adaptable, self-starter who can work both independently and collaborate well within a dynamic team environment.

  Strong team orientation and a continuous drive to meet deliverables.
