Job Description

Installs, maintains, repairs and replaces heating, ventilating, air conditioning, refrigeration systems and other related equipment. Provides guidance to HVAC Mechanic B and other personnel assigned to projects.

Job Responsibility

Installs, maintains, repairs and replaces heating, ventilating, air conditioning and refrigeration systems and related equipment throughout the hospital.

Recommends and/or prepares purchase requests.

Assists Contractors in shutdown of services and utility systems, as needed.

Provides guidance and instructions to HVAC Mechanic B and other personnel assigned to projects.

Serves as a member of the Fire Response Team.

Performs related duties, as required.

Job Qualification

High School Diploma or equivalent, required.

Minimum three (3) years of HVAC experience, required.

Ability to use tools of the trade and comprehend blueprints, required.

Ability to communicate effectively and follow instructions.

The salary range for this position is $37.77-$41.19/hour
