　　Job Description

　　What you will be doing:

　　Playing a technical expert role on a collaborative project team, responsible for the design and production of mission critical, enterprise-scale business systems and web services

　　Translating requirements into system design specifications and implementing them throughout the entire software development life cycle

　　Developing a thorough understanding of the logistics business and risk management domains

　　Maintaining team awareness of evolving technologies in use by other teams at Expeditors and in the technology industry as a whole

　　The ideal profile for this position is a full-stack developer

　　This position will reside in the greater Seattle, WA area.

　　MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

　　BS or BA in Computer Science or similar, or >3 years of professional experience in:

　　Software development

　　Enterprise systems support

　　Proficiency with Java programming for enterprise systems:

　　Springboot

　　Soap /GraphQL /Rest API's

　　Tomcat

　　Experience with enterprise Linux operating systems and Unix servers:

　　Bash and shell command line and scripting

　　Automated Gitlab pipelines (CI/CD pipelines, automation, and monitoring)

　　Experience with relational databases (SQL) and ORMs in enterprise applications

　　Basic understanding of Javascript and HTML for UI programming

　　Experience with Git, branching, and merge requests/pull requests (or version controlled systems

　　DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS

　　Event-driven architecture

　　Transportation and logistics or supply-chain solutions

　　Trade and customs compliance

　　Risk-management (insurance)

　　Developer IDE (Eclipse, IntelliJ or other)

　　Java plug-ins (specially Maven or Nexus)

　　Backend code (Java/Spring) to write the business logic, database queries, and APIs

　　Front end code (Angular/Bootstrap/HTML, CSS) to use services and APIs

　　RxJs/NgRx/Redux

　　Agile software development methodologies

　　Expected base salary: $88,000 to $145,000

　　May be eligible for bonus following first year of continuous employment in position
