Description

The Desktop Support Technician will provide technical assistance to end-users, troubleshoot desktop-related issues, and maintain software and hardware systems. You’ll be the go-to resource for resolving technical problems and ensuring smooth operation of all desktop systems.

Responsibilities:

Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and network issues.

Install, configure, and maintain desktop systems and software.

Respond to helpdesk tickets and assist users with technical problems.

Perform routine maintenance and software updates.

Set up and configure new workstations and peripherals.

Document issues and solutions for future reference.

Provide basic user training and support on IT systems.

Requirements

Requirements:

Associate’s degree in IT or related field, or equivalent experience.

Experience with desktop operating systems (Windows, macOS) and hardware.

Strong troubleshooting skills for hardware, software, and network issues.

Familiarity with Active Directory and Office 365.

Excellent customer service and communication skills.

Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.

Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+, Microsoft) are a plus.
