Description:
We are looking to add 1 contractor for a 6 month contract-to-hire who will eventually become a full time member of the desktop team. The Desktop team consist of 12 Technicians, a Supervisor, and a Manager that handle daily tickets that are escalated from the Helpdesk for boots on the ground IT hardware & some software support, troubleshooting, break/fix, upgrades, installs, asset request, etc.
Technical skills:
Someone with some prior hardware/software basic support experience. This team handles PCs, printers, desktops, and IP phones. IP phone experience is not required but would be a plus. We have varied PCs including Dell, HP, 770's, 880's, etc.
Responsibilities will include:
Moves/Adds/Changes
Project work including office moves. Techs will need to move the hardware to the new office space, setup fax lines/cords in the new office space, and deploy the hardware.
Windows 10 and hardware installation and troubleshooting
troubleshooting tickets including hardware break/fix, internet connectivity issues, email issues, new asset requests, imaging, etc.
