　　As a Desk Sales Engineer , based anywhere in the UK, close to an Emerson office you provide desk- based sales support, systematically develop, support and implement growth strategies and initiatives to achieve and exceed business goals within the RS ( Reliability Solutions) business. The position also requires an element of customer facing visits and support where necessary.

　　You will be responsible for supporting driven displacement strategies and working the installed base tools to improve revenues from existing customers. Constant growth and engagement of full portfolio are essential. (#LI-Hybrid)

　　In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:

　　Acting as product champion for AMS TREX product line, proactively promoting this product group

　　Collaborating, communicating and aligning activities with the local European RS sales teams and provide support to the UK Reliability Solutions field sales team

　　Pre-qualifying customer requests for quotes to fully understand customer requirements and explore opportunities for additional products and/or services

　　Proactively following-up sales quotations with the goal of winning the order and see this process through to conclusion of won/lost order

　　Developing clear strategic growth programs to support future business growth

　　Connecting with dormant accounts to reactivate the relationship and consider opportunities

　　Managing specified account records in CRM including lead management and opportunity follow-up and management

　　Working on events together with the marketing team to promote new sales programs and product developments

　　Who You Are:

　　You effectively communicate at both technical and commercial level, in various settings: one-on-one, small and large groups, or among diverse styles and position levels.

　　You display a can-do attitude, taking initiative in good and bad times. You build and deliver solutions that meet or even exceed customer expectations. You push yourself and help others achieve results.

　　For This Role, You Will Need:

　　Experience in Sales (e.g. inside sales, desk sales, front sales, business development) or equivalent roles within a large, matrix type of organization

　　Experience of using business sales systems and /or standard business reporting tools (e.g. Oracle and CRM)

　　Digital literacy with proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word and PowerPoint)

　　English proficiency to business standard

　　Ability to travel up to 20%

　　Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart:

　　Educated to HNC/Degree level in an engineering field

　　Experience of working within the Process Automation Industry
