Summary About the position: This position is located at Youth Sports on Kadena Air Base, Okinawa, Japan. Responsibilities Performs primarily substantive clerical work in support of technical administrative management and operational requirements for the Child and Youth Program Activities. Responsible for the registration and payment office which is the focal point for all program information, payments, and customer service contracts. Using a computer workstation that is networked to other workstations throughout the squadron, the incumbent updates and maintains an automated recreation tracking system. Prepares periodic reports utilizing the tracking system. Prepares and verifies the validity of documents, filing, collects fees, prepares cashier's reports and verifies readings on all cash collection. Prepares letters correspondence, spreadsheets, and reports. Typical duties include maintaining records, screening, reviewing, and verifying documents; searching for and compiling information and data; providing a central source of information; preparing and verifying the validity of documents, etc. Performs other related duties as assigned.
