　　Job Description Summary

　　Designer - Piping & Layout

　　Qualifications - ITI/Diploma Mechanical Engineering.

　　Experience - 5 to 15 years.

　　Pre-work activities like proposal document and bill of material verification.

　　ITB study and technical query / clarification preparation at starting of the project.

　　3d Modelling of Equipment, Pipe supports in 3d environment.

　　Piping for various equipment like column, air coolers, pumps, exchangers, horizontal vessels, etc. in 3D environment using software like S3d.

　　Detail Engineering including work instruction preparation, Equipment and piping layout preparation for 3D modeling.

　　Review and comment vendor equipment documentation within the discipline and from other disciplines for compliance with project requirements, and actively seek discrepancy resolution.

　　Resolving comments of model reviews

　　Preparation of Isometrics from 3D model and releasing for fabrication and construction.

　　MTO takeoff activities.

　　Scheduling isometrics on weekly basis

　　Checking & Preparation of GAD.

　　Control schedule and Quality of Piping deliverables to minimize transmittal rejection ratio.

　　Bill of Material estimation & control and keep a check on Inch-dia increment.

　　Co-ordination with other disciplines for relevant design interfaces. Mark-up of master documents, follows-up comments from other departments and assures inclusion of required design changes.
