  As a Design Verification Engineer for Micron, you will work with a highly innovative and motivated design and verification team using innovative memory technologies to develop the most sophisticated DRAM and Emerging memory products!

  You will be challenged by the complexity and difficulty of verifying high density memory chips (up to 32Gb) with huge scale of circuit capability (over 4M transistors), ultra-high speed designs, complex functionality which includes next Generation DDR/LPDDR (ex: DDR5, LPDDR5) and advanced low power and power management technologies.

  You will be responsible to evaluate the functionality and performance of the Full-chip and block-level circuit designs using different verification tools, techniques, and strategies. In addition, you will also need to provide solutions to help deliver a functionally accurate design.

  Lastly, you will need to collaborate closely with Micron's various design, verification, and product engineering teams all over the world to ensure design project success.

  Your Key Responsibilities Will Include

  Fully understand the design datasheet.

  Study and learn the circuit design in detail. Understand the functionality and timing requirements of the circuitry.

  Develop patterns and regressions to increase the function coverage for all DRAM architectures and features.

  Provide support to design engineers, debug failures, handle bug tracking, and close coverage.

  Co-work with international colleagues on developing new verification tools and flows to solve the verification difficulties.

  Develop and maintain test benches and test vectors using digital and analog simulation tools.

  Create new methods and flows to guide DRAM chip design from verification view.

  Create verification plan from functionality specification and in coordination with architects.

  The ideal candidate will have:

  BS or MS (preferred) in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or equivalent.

  Good understanding of CMOS circuit design.

  Must have gate level circuit design/verification experience.

  Familiar with analog/digital simulation tools, i.e. HSPICE, System Verilog, FINESIM, SimVision

  Must possess good interpersonal skills and ability to work well in a team

  Excellent debugging and problem-solving skills.

  Experience in System Verilog, VPI/PLI, Python coding preferred

  Experience in UVM Test Bench preferred

  Experience in leading small or large projects preferred

  Previous work experience in DRAM memory related fields is a plus

  Any ASIC or RTL design verification experience is a plus
