　　Job Description

　　AECOM is seeking a talented Design Intern for immediate employment in our Coral Gables, FL office . We have exciting opportunities for significant Athletic Venues & Mixed-Use Developments and multiple major Cruise Line projects.

　　This position is expected to begin in March 2024.

　　AECOM’s Buildings + Places practice includes architecture, interiors, building engineering, workplace strategy, business transformation, asset advisory, economics and development planning, master planning, urban planning, and landscape architecture. With a range of expertise from strategy and design through project realization, we create better outcomes to grow economies, protect natural systems, conserve natural resources, make societies more equitable and connect and engage people through innovative, sustainable design solutions.

　　The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:

　　Performing a variety of assignments designed to develop professional work knowledge and abilities, requiring application of standard techniques, procedures and criteria in carrying out tasks.

　　Following instructions to accomplish tasks assigned by senior staff.

　　Meeting required schedules while producing quality work.

　　Performing basic architectural/engineering calculations.

　　Qualifications

　　Minimum Requirements:

　　Must be pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture or related field.

　　Must have completed 3 years of qualified study.

　　Preferred Qualifications:

　　Revit experience preferred.

　　Demonstrate enthusiasm, highly motivated and detail oriented.

　　Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

　　Must be able to work well with clients, staff and consultants.

　　Proficiency in AutoCAD 2010 (or higher version) preferred.

　　This position will primarily be in the office in Coral Gables, FL, but hybrid work is an option.

　　Exposure to Hospitality, Retail and Housing projects preferred.

　　Non-Exempt Position: Offered rate of compensation (Florida locations only) will be based on individual education, qualifications, experience, and work location. The hourly range for this position is $20.91/hr - $28.74/hr.
