Job Summary
Oversees the day to day operations of the regional DAS team. Responsible for understanding, interpreting and communicating accurate lighting controls design projects to internal and external teams. Responsible for ensuring quality Request for Assistance (RFA) output and customer satisfaction. Uses visual controls software to help generated and amend deliverables. Collaborates with the regional CSD's to support controls sales. Responsible for helping onboard new hires, tracking team metrics, agency interactions, as well as management of escalations.
Key Tasks & Responsibilities (Essential Functions)
Responsible for the overall operations and results of lighting controls systems and product application to sales agents and customers. Provides expert application support for both internal and external customers as it pertains to product applications for quotes and designs.
Performs quality control tasks for the design services provided to agency partners and customers including triaging and quality control of projects and actively seeking feedback to improve services. Uses KPIs to evaluate performance and progress of daily tasks to identify areas for process improvement.
Reviews and adjusts project schedules and employee work queues including cross region scheduling. Collaborates with regional sales teams to pinpoint opportunities and offer expertise.
Works with design engineers and agency partners to resolve escalated customer design issues pertaining to pre/post order applications errors. Provides engineering support and communicates cross-functionally with other areas.
Maintains and drives a positive relationship with our agency partners to provide them with the best support possible.
Provides onboarding, training, and technical development to lower team roles.
Education (minimum education required)
Bachelor of Science
Skills and Minimum Experience Required
8-10 years experience
Building construction and design knowledge including computer aided design, electrical components, relays and electrical theory.
Ability to work independently as well as on a team including strong leadership skills, high degree of personal responsibility and ability to maintain and attitude toward improvement and innovation.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills including ability to discuss solutions with customers.
Proven problem solving, conflict management and negotiating skills both internally and externally.
Ability to work remote.

The range for this position is $93,500.00 to $175,100.00. Placement within this range may vary, depending on the applicant’s experience and geographic location.
