  The Senior Director - Deposit & Loans Accounting Services (DAS/Deposit Ops) is a strategist, understanding the overarching vision for the Company's Consumer Operations activity and determining the best way to execute the organization's goals by using their extensive experience, creativity, and judgment. The Senior Director understands and utilizes industry best practices. This individual is also a master of detail with the ability to evaluate practices and procedures to ensure quality outcomes and a seamless customer experience. The team consists of 75+ employees. This position will be located in one of our operations centers - East Providence, RI, Boston, MA, Dallas, TX, Miami, FL, or Florham Park, NJ.

  Responsible for the day-to-day operations of the company's business units.Aims to deliver superior service to clients by driving and optimizing the effectiveness and efficiency of people, processes, and technology thereby enhancing financial performance, increasing investment capacity, and managing risk.Builds sustainable repeatable capabilities that support the delivery of the highest standards of service and execution.Analyzes and reviews data tools, business processes, and operational standards to execute service delivery.Evaluates and will ensure that operations meet company objectives, business needs, service agreements, and relevant requirements.Researches and monitors the external landscape to identify developments and translate them into operational implications for the company.

  Essential Functions/Responsibility Statements:

  Develops strategic plans and sets goals and budgets that align with the Company's mission, values, business model, and Customer-Centric Guiding Principles.Oversees the implementation of strategic plans and initiatives, ensuring the progress of divisional and departmental goals of Financial, Customer Centricity, Operational Process and Controls, Risk Management, and Human Capital.Assesses risks in all servicing processes, reviews and controls effectiveness, and improves processes for better customer experience as well as stronger risk management.Identifies structural gaps in HR, policies and procedures, processes, and technology applications, leads, and guides business unit managers in finding root causes and solutions.Prevents operational losses by developing a risk oversight strategy and providing guidance to line managers for effective controls to reduce financial, operational, compliance, and legal risks.Performs periodic manpower and staff adequacy analysis to ensure all levels of staff's technical adequacy and ability to support the Bank's growth. Develop job descriptions and hire the appropriate level of staff to provide effective and efficient loan services to internal and external customers.Develops succession plans, identifies successors for their own and their direct reports, and provides training for the successor for their growth.

  Qualifications:

  Education:

  REQUIRED - Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Mathematics, or Economics or equivalent field.PREFERRED - Master's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Mathematics or Economics or equivalent field.

  Work Experience:

  REQUIRED - Relevant experience in banking and or commercial & consumer loan operations., 12-15 yearsREQUIRED - Leading a large cross-functional team., 9-12 years

  Skills and Abilities:

  Demonstrates deep and contemporary knowledge of organizational/bank operations and business process managementAdvanced problem-solving skills to identify and independently resolve problems in a timely mannerAbility to gather and analyze information skillfully and thoroughly in order to develop documents and communicate solutionsReacts positively and effectively with frequent change, delays, or unexpected eventsMust be receptive to new ideas and embrace changing responsibilities with a positive attitudeExtensive software application knowledge related to deposit and loan features and functionality including but not limited to application, onboarding, underwriting, processing, workflow, etc.Advanced knowledge of banking products and servicesAble to respond promptly to customer needs with a flexible approach or method to best fit the situation and technical skills of the end-userAbility to respond positively to questions as well as solicit and apply customer feedbackExcellent oral and written communication skills to professionally resolve issues with internal and external customers and communicate technical information clearly based on the needs of the end user.

  Working Conditions:

  Frequent Minimal physical effort such as sitting, standing, and walking.Occasionally moving and lifting equipment and furniture are required to support onsite and offsite meeting setup and teardown. Physically capable of lifting up to fifty pounds, able to bend, kneel, and climb ladders.
