The Manufacturing Engineer is responsible for ongoing processimprovement initiatives that deliver excellence across entire valuechain. This position develops and improves manufacturing processes andproduct quality by studying product and manufacturing methods,identifying areas of improvement, and working with manufacturingpersonnel to ensure plans are implemented. Essential Duties andResponsibilities: Responsible for coordinating the successful launch ofNew Product Introductions (NPI) within Operations. Contribute tofacility transformation, technology transfer and ongoing maintenance ofmixed model lines or value streams. Ensure ongoing success of processimprovement initiatives by implementing policies, procedures and processdocumentation. Implement demand driven principles and strategies thatsupports operational excellence and long range plans. (Flexibility,Speed & Responsiveness) Ensure product, material and information streamsflow and are synchronized to produce maximum efficiencies and lowestcost of operation. Contribute to creation of innovative ideas to improvebusiness results. Deploy standard Generac tools, methodologies,standards, practices and processes. Implement objectives to includecontinuous improvement initiatives to achieve customer satisfaction andfulfillment needs. Work closely with shop floor personnel to promoteongoing continuous improvement of manufacturing methods, systems andcontrols. Responsible for area layouts, process definition, PLCprograming, design/selection, justification, and implementation ofequipment, programs, and tooling. Minimal Qualifications: Bachelor\'sDegree in Engineering or Industrial Technology and 3-5 years relatedexperience in the Engineering function within a similar workingenvironment. Preferred Qualifications: Manufacturing Engineeringexperience.
