Why This Role is Important to Us:
The Quality Programs Project Manager plays a key project management role on the Quality Programs Team, assisting with enterprise-wide accreditation, regulatory and other Quality Programs activities implemented across Commonwealth Care Alliance (CCA). This role directs and oversees CCA's enterprise-wide efforts to ensure that the CCA Quality Programs meet or exceed the requirements of federal and state regulators, as well as external accreditation organizations. This role manages large scale projects which span several domains of the health plan's operations through collaboration with staff across the organization in tracking, monitoring, reporting and documenting activities, reports and other tasks pertinent to key corporate initiatives. Under the supervision of the VP, Quality Programs, the successful candidate will possess strong project management, writing, communication and negotiation skills.
What You'll Be Doing:
Under the direction of the VP, Quality Programs principal areas of responsibility include, but may not be limited to:
Manages quality-related State reporting requirements for all markets and products
Manages quality-related Federal reporting requirements for all markets and products
Assists in the development of Quality input and data to RFP, RFI and RFR requests
Develop and update project planning and tracking tools to gauge progress toward goal attainment
Maintain documentation for leadership to support scope, justification of growth and report on progress
Collaborate with Team Leads in the tracking of progress towards the completion of their assigned tasks
Ensure cross-coordination of Team Leads and staff toward gap closure
Assign and track deliverables end-dates
Assist in the upload of documentation to NCQA IRT system
Vendor support when appropriate
What We're Looking For:
Required Education:
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experienceDesired Education:
Master's Degree preferred
PMP Certification
Required Experience:
3 years of project experience in a health care and/or managed care organizationDesired Experience:
Managing Regulatory and/or Accreditation projectsKnowledge, Skills & Abilities:
Possess strong project management methodologies
Aptitude for project and data reporting
Strong interpersonal skills and proven team management
Ability to support the facilitation of project meetings and drive decision-making
Ability to prepare and present materials to senior level executives
Possess strong written and oral communication and active listening skills
Possess strong problem-solving skills
Proven ability to work independently in a remote setting
