DESCRIPTION OF WORKAs an Intern, you will be responsible for various tasks related to monitoring wetland and stream mitigation projects. This includes assisting with record management, organizing paper application files for digitization, and helping with the backlog and newly submitted wetland monitoring reports. Additionally, you will be involved in conducting field inspections of permitted mitigation sites to ensure compliance with permit conditions. This will involve collecting environmental data, gathering geographical information, taking physical measurements, and capturing photographs of field conditions.

Work Schedule and Additional Information:
Full-time internship that will last from 5/1/2024 through 8/30/2024Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with 30-minute lunchTelework: Interns will have the opportunity to work from home (telework) part-time, on a schedule that aligns with their supervisor, so they are in the office on the same days. No full time telework will be approved. In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection. If you are unable to telework, you will have the option to report to the headquarters office in Meadville.Salary:In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable.You will receive further communication regarding this position via email. Additional Requirements:This position requires possession of a valid Class C non-commercial driver's license.You must be able to perform essential job functions.
