　　DESCRIPTION OF WORKThis internship position will assist Aquatic Biologists in taxonomic identifications of mosquitoes and black flies (gnats) for the West Nile Virus Control and Black Fly Suppression Programs. Interns will also occasionally assist in molecular testing of samples to determine presence of arthropod-borne diseases, vector control operations to reduce disease transmission risk, and sorting of stream macroinvertebrates to monitor steam quality to broaden the learning experience.
