JOB PURPOSE:
The position will manage and optimize stock availability and inventory levels across distribution centers, ensuring timely fulfillment of customer requirements while minimizing excess inventory and waste. This role requires coordinating with sourcing countries for on-schedule product deliveries, overseeing project management for new SKUs and packaging transitions, and ensuring compliance with regulatory and customs requirements.
CORE RESPONSIBILITIES:
Manage stock availability to meet customer requirements on time while maintaining optimum inventory levels across all distribution centers
Collaborate with sourcing countries to ensure new products and re-launches are delivered on time, in line with the product grid schedule.
Direct project management efforts and create purchase orders for new local co-pack SKUs, bundling initiatives, and packaging transitions, ensuring strict adherence to policies, guidelines, and project schedules.
Manage inventory to maintain optimal levels of packaging materials, minimizing if not eliminating scrapping and reducing slow-moving inventories for transitions and product discontinuations.
Manage product shipment planning with strict compliance to regulatory and customs requirements.
Maintain compliance with Demand Planning Key Performance Indicators, such as forecast accuracy, and lead the commercial gap identification as part of the Colgate business plan cycle to enhance forecasting precision.
Foster a collaborative working environment with the commercial group, manufacturing group, and key stakeholders to guarantee optimal customer service, efficient distribution, rapid product placement, and successful promotional execution. Lead process improvement and cost optimization initiatives with the purchasing and marketing team.
Actively identify and implement process improvement opportunities, and effectively communicate any issues arising during the execution of promotional events and the launch of new products.

EDUCATION:
Bachelor’s degree in any Engineering courseREQUIREMENTS:
7-10 years experience in Demand and/or Supply Chain ManagementSKILLS, COMPETENCIES AND LEVEL OF REQUIRED SUPERVISION
Excellent oral and written communication skills
High level of numeracy and attention to detail
Able to plan, prioritize, and flexible to changes
High proficiency in Google application (Slides, Sheets, Docs)
