　　Job Duties Operates company vehicles and provide courteous and efficientdelivery and pick up of packages; to check shipments for conformance toFedEx features of service; Provides coverage for all assigned routes withinthe station's service area; Provides related customer service functions.Performs other duties as assigned.

　　Minimum EducationHigh school diploma/GED.

　　Minimum ExperienceSix (6) months courier experience preferred. Must be able to demonstratearea knowledge.

　　Knowledge, Skills, and AbilitiesAbility to lift 50 lbs. Ability to maneuver packages of any weight above 50lbs with appropriate equipment and/or assistance from another person. Goodhuman relations and verbal communication skills. Thorough knowledge of thestation's service area preferred. Demonstrated skills in adaptability,dependability, and excellent courier methods.

　　Job ConditionsNeat appearance since customer contact is required. Must meet and maintain thequalifications as outlined in the federal motor carrier safety regulations.Requires medical exam in accordance with FMCSA or FAA regulations. Note:there are specific requirements for any employee that operates a companyvehicle. Please refer to policy 4-48 for exact job requirements. Must obtainand maintain a valid drivers license in accordance with your staterequirements for type of vehicle assigned and have good driving record asoutlined in policy. Non-covered safety sensitive position. Ability to work ina constant state of alertness and in a safe manner.
