JOB REQUIREMENTS: This position is responsible for delivering productsto customers from Sherwin-Williams stores using box and flat-bed trucks.Drivers ensure deliveries are complete, packed correctly, and safelydelivered to the correct customer. Drivers are accountable for customersatisfaction and for transporting items in a safe, timely manner. Ensuredeliveries are prepared to meet customer requirements in the mostefficient manner Load customer orders properly on the truck Ensureappropriate forms are completed Load, transport, and deliver items tocustomers in a safe, timely manner Maintain the store vehicle and alertthe supervisor to repair and servicing needs Provide excellent customerservice, answer questions, and handle complaints from customers Adhereto assigned routes and following time schedules Abide by alltransportation laws and maintaining a safe driving record Preparereports and other documents relating to deliveries Operate equipment andmachines, such as cars, trucks, forklifts, etc. Support terminalmanagers in various duties including driving training, maintenance,registration, scheduling, and ordering Perform other tasks in the store,including warehouse duties, tinting, and mixing customer orders andwaiting on customers Minimum Requirements: Must be at least 21 years ofage Must be legally authorized to work in the country of employmentwithout needing sponsorship for employment work visa status now or inthe future Must have a valid, unrestricted Driver\'s License Must have avalid Medical Examiner\'s Certificate (MEC) from a Department ofTransportation (DOT) licensed \"medical examiner\" listed on the FederalMotor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) National Registry or bewilling to obtain one within five business days of receiving aconditional offer of employment Must have at least one (1) yearexperience working as a delivery driver Must be able, with or withoutreasonable accommodation, to retrieve material from shelves and floorstacks and lift and carry up to 50 lbs. frequently and up to 70 lbs. onoccasion.
