　　Enterprise Technology & Services (ETS) delivers shared technology services for the Firm supporting all business applications and end users. ETS provides capabilities for all stages of the Firm's software development lifecycle, enabling productive coding, functional and integration testing, application releases, and ongoing monitoring and support for over 3,000 production applications.

　　Position Description:

　　The Kubernetes engineering team is responsible for engineering a Kubernetes Platform at Morgan Stanley and rolling it out globally across many datacenters. The engineering team is a global team with a presence in the United States, Canada, Hungary, England and China. The agile cross-functional team has members with strong engineering backgrounds in Networks, Security, Operating Systems and Hardware. The team also has professional developers, and all team members have a strong background in automation.

　　As a member of the team, you will bring valuable expertise but also will have the opportunity to learn. The platform is a cutting-edge design which was done in collaboration with some of the industry's best companies to provide a world class platform.

　　Responsibilities include:

　　• Adding features to the platform based on the product roadmap or new feature requests coming in from stakeholders.

　　• Releasing a new version of the platform with updated platform components.

　　• Creating and updating CI/CD pipelines

　　• Triaging issues with SRE team as issues are being escalated to engineering

　　• Developing ansible code daily.

　　• Demonstrating work in agile ceremonies

　　• Working closely with other engineering team members

　　QUALIFICATIONS

　　Required Skills:

　　• Knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes

　　• At least 1 year of experience in Linux

　　• Ansible automation

　　• Automation using Python or shell

　　• Comfortable with software development source control tooling

　　• General infrastructure management knowledge (DNS, Network, Storage, Operating Systems)

　　• Knowledge of DevOps and Agile practices

　　Nice to have:

　　• Linux Administration

　　• Openshift/Kubernetes administration

　　• Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA) from CNCF

　　• Knowledge of public cloud

　　• Development of REST APIs using Python
